The tin bumpers, trim and hubcaps are lightly age tarnished. The interior is beautifully detailed and lithographed.
The rubber tires show light wear, especially the front ones, as that is where the working friction motor sits. The underside tab, holding the front axle to the chassis, has come loose, so the left front of the car sits lower than usual. The toy comes with a plastic display case, a Cars magazine description card and a framed Motor Trend magazine article about the real concept car. This is an exceptionally nice example of this scarce Yonezawa XL-500 experimental car.
