VW Volkswagen Empi love Bug B/O toy race car made in Japan by Taiyo

The most famous VW drag race car from the 70s was the Empi Inch Pincher. This 10.5 long toy model from Taiyo is somewhat of a copy of that iconic car, probably named the Love Bug to also capture the imagination of Herbie the Love Bug fans. In very good played with condition with no missing parts and one small crack in the plastic battery box. When powered the rear window lights come on, but the motor does not run. Has some light scratches and plating deficiencies, but no obvious dents.
