Vtg Wind Up Lithograph Toy Car Mettoy Rolls Royce Tinplate England

Circa 1938 made in England. Mettoy CW two-tone Rolls Royce sedan, Saloon Car with lithographed tin chauffeur driver. Attractive color combination, blue and cream body with silver-tone trim.

Large lithographed tin wheels, fixed key windup spring motor attached to rear wheels, functioning. For its age, I think it is. Please look at all pictures and contact me for additional details. There are moderate rust marks, some scratches, nicks, and dents. Driver figure and tires are in good condition. Wind up is strong and is functioning. Unfortunately, the hood ornament is missing. This was my dad's car, born in 1931, lovingly stored and protected! I hope it finds a new, loving collector where maybe it will again be a family heirloom.
