Chrysler was boycotting NASCAR with their ban on the Hemi so "King" Richard Petty went drag racing. Drag racing was the ticket as well, so why not put a toy drag race set with the car that would most likely end up on the drag strip. THIS INFO WAS SUPPLIED BY COLLECTOR.

These were for the 66 barracuda.. There is also a set in the Brown box that people could order. These were dealer sets only. I have 2 and have only seen 2 others.. This is the rare set..
