We are pleased to offer you this outstanding 11 ½ inch. Antique/vintage key wind, high quality MIDGET RACER, race car toy. Features a very high quality key wind mechanism w.

Sophisticated gear driven power supply with a drive shaft to the rear end with another gear driven rear axle mechanism. The mechanism also features a push-pull, stop-go activation rod inside the cockpit to the right of the steering wheel. Although the key is missing, by carefully winding the mechanism with a small pair of needle nose pliers, the gear driven wind up mechanism seems to work well. The midget racer is in as found excellent original condition. We have made no attempt to clean lubricate or adjust anything on the car.

He mechanics seem a little slow and definitely needs cleaning and lubrication. This outstanding piece comes from the collection of a high end Palm Springs estate. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLOSE-UP LENS ON THE CAMERA SOMETIMES DISTORTS THE ANGLES OF THE PIECES.

ALL PIECES ARE PERFECTLY UPRIGHT AND STRAIGHT OR NORMAL. This policy is for any misrepresented or damaged items only. The Clock key is slightly too large for the winding collar on the car, but by very simply lifting the short collar off, the car can be wound and then replace the collar. With the exceptiop of cleaning and lube, the key wind motor seems to be in perfect working condition.
