For sale is an amazing original vintage tin wind-up toy. This is the Loop-A-Loop according to the graphic on the actual game or the Loop-THE-Loop according to the box.

The box measures about 19.5" by about 6" square and the game itself is just a tad smaller then that. The maker is Wolverine out of Pittsburgh, PA and the bottom of the toy has all the hallmarks and even directions! The condition of the toy in general is EXCELLENT with just light wear and the box is in good shape too with a bit more general wear. The condition is original, so with a soft cleaning it will'glow' even more!

The game works nicely too. The last 2 pics sort of show the game in-action. When wound up and put in the start position the track rotates'up-n-down' and a bell rings loudly!

Gravity is what provides the energy for the car to circumvent and loop. Now each time I tried it, the car would complete the first loop but on the way back it did not make it back up the other side. Now I did not wind it up but simply used the'wind' that was already present so perhaps if you gave it a fresh wind it might initially have the energy to complete multiple loops.

I did not wan to wind it up myself since I have a habit of over-winding things. Anyway, a s far as tin toys go this is how you want them, in great shape and with the original box.
