Chein & Company mechanical tin lithographed "Roller Coaster" wind-up toy Model No. Proudly manufactured in the USA, this large amusement park toy features exceptional, highly detailed carnival lithography showcasing midway scenes like a "Side Show" tent, a boardwalk "Hot Dogs" stand, standard park visitors, and a large smiling clown face centered on the winding housing mechanism. This listing includes one (1) original matching tin litho coaster ride car.

The manual side crank handle and internal wind-up spring mechanism still hold tension, and the warning bell rings nicely. Once a new rubber band belt is threaded onto the pulleys, this piece will make an incredible fully functional display item. A phenomenal project or display centerpiece for collectors of vintage tin toys, classic carnival/fairground memorabilia, or general 1950s Americana.

Vintage, pre-owned condition showing beautiful age-appropriate patina. The toy needs a new internal track rubber band/belt to fully transport the car up the hill. The wind-up clockwork spring mechanism operates and the warning bell triggers correctly. The colorful lithography on both the base and the included car remains bright and clear, with some expected light surface scuffing, minor play scratches, and isolated pinpoint spots of oxidation along the tracks and bottom edges.

Please review all photos closely for exact cosmetic details. The tin car will be wrapped separately so it doesn't scratch the base track.
