Vintage Dooling Bros MERCURY Rear Wheel Drive Tether Car Rolling Chassis -. Made in Los Angeles, CA circa 1940. You are looking at a very cool Dooling Mercury Tether Car Chassis.

It came from a model collector in Northern Ohio and has been on a shelf for many years. It is in the original condition in which I received it, only dusted off for pictures.

The car is missing an engine and some body panel parts as well as some other pieces possibly. I have provided as many possible pictures from every angle so that buyers can see the exact condition. The overall condition of everything is pretty good! The car rolls nice and smooth. The rear differential spins easily by hand.

All of the suspension parts move and flex as they should. The rubber tires are still soft and pliable, not rotted or hard (tires are stamped Dooling Bros Los Angeles). All of the metal parts have nicks, scratches and light corrosion on them as expected. The car measures 19 long overall. Overall this car is a very cool piece of history.
