Large and impressive CIJ Renault Nervasport Record Car, 1930s France. The original vehicle originated from the Nervastella saloon car and featured a 4.8-litre aircraft engine. In 1934 at the banked Montlhéry circuit the car averaged 167kmh over 48 hours breaking multiple world records. The car is play worn with numerous scrapes and rusty areas but is structurally sound. The Renault transfer is excellent; the Nervasport transfer has a small nibble.
The rubber tyres have some flat spots and the front right is fairly distorted. The clockwork motor is tarnished but is intact and does wind.
