Vintage 1930 MARX KOMIKAL KOP TIN WIND UP TOY CAR with DOG Boys & Girls

Original, Antique 1930 Louis Marx Beat It The Komical Kop Mechanical Tin Litho Windup Toy #23. This toy is a great adaptation of the Keystone Kops in the great silent comedies by Mack Sennett. There were two versions of this toy made. One with and one without a dog sitting on the running board. This variation is more sought after and is the one with the dog sitting on the running board.

This toy is original, complete and in excellent condition. It works good and when wound, the car drives about erratically in different directions while the driver's head spins. The car has "Traffic B" on both sides of the hood, P. " on the radiator, the number "7" on each side of the seat and a "P.

"Beat It The Komical Kop" is printed on the top of the trunk and the early Marx logo is printed on both sides of the trunk. Louis Marx & Co name and address are printed on the back of the trunk. Measures 7" long x 6.5" high.
