Tin Friction Mf 135 Red Flag Toy Car Red China Collectible

Vintage Tin Friction "Red Flag" car, made in Red China during the early 1960's. The car was made in a sedan version as well as the far more rare Convertible version which is the subject of this listing.

The Sedan version was categorized as "MF 996". The Convertible MF 135 in this listing measures 10" long and has a strong friction action with a "siren sound. "Giraffe" pattern seats are eye catching.

The interior is complete with a driver and steering wheel (both plastic), tin chromed roll bar, Litho instruments on dash board, litho handles on the inside of the four doors, and Litho stripped floorboards. The tin toy car has some nice details to include a tin beige convertible boot, tin chromed "hold-bars" on either side of the back seats, tin chromed bumpers, tail lights, head lights, windshield with celluloid windscreen, and tin chromed hub-caps. Some nicely "embossed" lines for trunk, hood, and doors.
