Tin Friction 1958 Oldsmobile Hardtop Car Olds Hard To Find Sankei Okuma Japan

The car measures 11 3/4 inches or 30 centimeters long and it is in complete condition. The is a beautiful tin friction car in excellent condition.

The paint is completely original. The strange but very effective color combination really works well with all the detailed chrome trim and the careful attention to detail. The surface of the tin is glossy and has only a few very small chips or scratches in the beautiful purple paint. The orange/red roof is in good condition.

There are a number of small scratches in the paint and a couple of tiny dings. The chrome trim is bright and shiny with some small areas where the tin has darkened, especially on the side chrome.

It is all original with the exception of the top fins which were done exactly to the original by that wonderful craftsman from Uncle Al's Toys. Also, the front windshield plastic is not original but a nice replacement. The back window is original. The base and tires are in great shape and the base of the car is in excellent, all original condition. The car is listed on page 161 of the wonderful Big Book of Tin Toy Cars.
