The car measures 8 inches or 20 centimeters long and it comes with its original box. The car is in excellent condition and it is complete, except for the two front fender mirrors.
The box also is in very good to excellent condition; it is all there and very solid, although there is a tear on one corner of the box, see photo #5. The car appears to have never been played with, although its mirrors are missing. I do not usually sell too many things with missing parts, but I have had this car and box around for a long, long time and I just want to let it go. The deep red paint is in beautiful condition, glossy and rich color with a great surface. The chrome trim is very bright and shiny and the tires and hubcaps are all intact and in excellent condition. The friction motor works very well. This would be an easy car to restore to near mint condition, just add the missing mirrors and it will be a real beauty. This tin friction model is pictured on page 107 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars. Questions are welcome and I will be happy to provide additional photos.
