Schuco wind up gold plated 50th anniversary VW toy car with packaging & cert

Gently used vintage car in original packaging as shown in photos - nesting boxes stored inside a wooden hinged crate. Certificate of authenticity indicates "Micro Racer #1046 GP (gold plated) Volkswagen VERGOLDET". Bottom of car indicates Serial Number 1194 out of 2,000 piece production run in August 1998. Toy is operational in every way, steers, winds up, bumps to stop, etc.

Gold plated body with green tinted windows. Wind up key is included with the car. Dial on back steers the front wheels.

Lever on side turns the drive wheels. Runs really fast if fully wound up!
