1935 Jouets Citroen Rosalie wind-up race car. Here's a fantastic and extremely rare 1935 Citroen Rosalie boat tail race car produced by Jouet's of France. This is a super rare version with an electric battery operated headlight.
The car has a wind-up motor which works great. I don't think the brass key is original. The front wheels are adjustable.
The body of the car is pressed steel and the driver's head is cast-iron. The rims of the tires have been painted some time ago. They were apparently removed to do this and mismatched bolts were used to reattach the wheels. There is wear to the two decals "Rosalie" "Citroen", as well as the head of the driver. Small ding on the front grill is present.
Otherwise in outstanding condition for an 83 year old toy car. Retains most of its original red paint. Marked on the bottom " Jouets Made in France". Please see multiple photos for accurate description. What a great addition to your collection! Thanks for viewing our listing!
