Opel Rekord Japanese Tin 2-Door Sedan Car with Original Box by Bandai NR

Another big Japanese tin car with the original box by Bandai. This beautifully styled Opel Record measures approximately 10.5" long (26.7 cm) by 3.25 tall (8.3 cm) and 4" wide (10.2 cm). The 2-tone dark blue and silver blue paint is complimented by the blue patterned lithograph interior. The tin trim is nice although there are a couple of spots of tarnishing on the side trim.

Windshield celluloids are original and very nice. Tires and hubcaps are nice as well. There is some spidering on the hood and the trunk lid, both of which show small areas of touchup.

There are also a couple of box rubs on the top of the car and a couple of very minor creases, you can see them in the photos. The base plate is of course original as well.

The old box has one side apron and one end apron repaired, and as you can see has led a hard life. It has been shrink wrapped in order to protect it.
