Presented for your consideration is this neat old toy car. It is the "WHOOPEE CAR" made by Louis Marx & Company.
It appears to have been made in the 1930's. This is a wind-up toy and it is made out of tin with a great lithographed design, very colorful.
There are Princeton and Yale pennants on the back wheels as well as college decals on the trunk and suitcase. The driver is wearing a fur coat and there are two Art Deco style ladies on the rear trunk.
The wind-up mechanism still works, the driver's head spins as the back wheels turn. It runs a little sluggish when set on a surface. In good condition with only minimal wear.
