Nm Tin Friction 56 Ford Fairlane 500 Convertible Car Opening Trunk Bandai Japan

The car measures 12 inches or 30 centimeters long. The car is complete and all original and it is in excellent/ near mint condition. This is one of the finest tin cars made by Bandai. The extremely colorful , patterned interior is in contrast with the solid color of the body and it works beautifully.

The front seats can fold backward, just like a real car. The interior is in terrific condition with only a little wear on the dash. The body of the car is a beautiful mint green/blue. It is in excellent condition with no touchups or repairs.

There are a few very small chips in the paint. The trunk lid works as it should; it probably doesn't fit as precisely as it once did, but it is still a pretty nice fit. The windshield is original and it has no cracks or breaks in the celluloid. The tires and hubcaps are in excellent condition. The base is almost like new and the friction motor works very well.

This is a really stunning car in terrific condition. It really is a beauty. The car is pictured on page 87 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars.
