Step back into the golden age of American toy manufacturing with this vintage Marx "Old Timer Collection" tin friction car set, a highly collectible mid-century release featuring beautifully styled early automobile designs. Produced by Louis Marx & Co.

One of America's most iconic toy manufacturers, these sets were made in post-WWII Japan (1940s-1950s) during the tin toy boom. Marx toys were known for affordability, durability, and creative design-making them staples of mid-century childhood. Today, surviving boxed sets are increasingly scarce, especially with all vehicles present. Original paint shows light wear consistent with age. Wheels intact; friction mechanisms untested. Box is worn with some tears, and missing sections (see photos). Maker: Marx (marked on underside).
