Marx Official Fire Chief Vintage Tin Fire Department Friction Toy Car. This car is in great condition with all 4 wheels. The wooden wheels in front show very little wear. The rubber wheels in the rear are intact and in great condition. The friction motor also works very well. The graphics are bright and obviously this car has seen very little, if any, sunlight. There are two imperfections: There is a small very hard to see dent on the very top of the car where it looks like someone pushed a price sticker down and it never popped back up (which can be repaired). There is also a very fine 2 scratch that runs from the forward part of the drivers door in an arc up to the top of the car.
There is no rust visible to the exterior of the body for the exception of very small 1 and 2mm spot on the under frame. There are no other imperfections. No dents in the 4 quarter panels. A very clean example of a Marx vehicle of this age. The car measures 7.5"L, 3"W, 2.5 H.
Complete with the Marx logo on the drivers side, ahead of the door. Collection is from a non-smoking home.
