ICHIKO Tin Friction 1961 VW Karmann Ghia Type 34 Police Car 8.5 Near Mint W/Box. The car represents a 1961 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Type 34 finished as a police cruiser.
It is in near mint, new old store stock condition, perfectly clean, and never played with or out on display. The car has spent it's whole life in the protective confines of it's protective box.
It is really as close to mint as can be found. Requisite black and white finish has a like new luster and is void of any dents or dings.
It shows only a couple minor manufacturing marks on the otherwise pristine paint. All the original parts are intact. Tin lithograph is just brilliant as is colorful interior.
Polished trim all shines like chrome with no tarnish or corrosion. Blue tinted windows are crystal clear, void of any cracks or breaks and still mounted firmly in place. Flat litho interior has nice detail. Satin black base is as perfect as the day it was made. Attractive VW logo hubcaps are pristine.
Tires are all flawless with no cracks or flat spots. Friction motor runs strong and long with great siren sound. The best part of this wonderful vintage car are the wig wag emergency lights on top of car which move back and forth as car rolls along.
Spring antenna and fender mounted siren are still securely fastened. Colorful box is clean and complete, void of any stains or fading and showing moderate storage wear.
