Hafner Tin Clockwork Wind Up Touring Car Circa 1905. The car is 10" long & 5" wide. Most of the red paint on the body and the paint on the wheels have been repainted. The hood is original and is probably aluminum that was most likely painted as well.
It is missing the back seat which was wood and had a covering on it like the front seat. The front seat is loose. The hood needs to be straightened and the 5 tabs to secure it in place need to be replaced and super glued to the hood. There is only one tab presently on the hood but it is ready to fall off. There are no lights on the cowl. There is a hole in the center of the hood toward the cowl. ---see photos--- The wind up motor is wound tight and can't be tested that way. This is the same Hafner Company that made trains... But they started with making toy cars. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Vintage & Antique Toys\Tin\Vehicles".
