Here is a large 12.5 long tin friction powered Indianapolis 500 style race car made by Bandai of Japan in the 1960s. Called the Golden Jet Racer by Bandai, the car is clean as new and in excellent condition with all parts intact. There is a strong friction motor with loud clicker motor sound as well.
Included is the factory box and protective cardboard insert. Lustrous gold and white finish is mirror smooth with no dents or dings.Only a couple very slight manufacturing marks are all that can be seen on the otherwise pristine finish. Trim all shines like chrome with no tarnish or corrosion.
Lastic wind screen is crystal clear with no cracks, breaks or shrinkage and still tightly attached. Friction motor runs like new; smooth, strong and long with great clicker motor sound. Tires are all flawless with no cracks or flat spots.
This large and impressive car has great features including twin chrome exhaust header pipes, Kurtis style front grill, detailed plastic driver, and litho gauge panel. Original box is clean and colorful but does show major storage wear and a couple inside repairs with correct cardboard color paper back tape.
