Bandai 1963 Cadillac Convert Japan Tin Friction Toy Car 17-inches All Original

Toy measures 17 inches in length. It is in very good condition overall.

The lipstick red paint has a nice luster despite several paint chips and scratches. There is minor thread rust on the hood and sides of the toy. The body is very straight with the only dent worth mentioning on center of the black boot located between the back seat and trunk. The toy is complete with the exception of the fender mirrors. Chrome is in excellent condition, very bright and free of corrosion.

Base plate does have light scratches from play, but is still in very nice condition as are the tires, which have most of their tread. Friction works but it is a little noisy & stiff, probably needs a lube. Bright yellow flocked interior is original, very presentable and is the only example in this color I have seen (red and black are typical). Litho dash and blue tinted windshield are excellent.

Toy is impressive in size and displays beautifully. A fine finned Caddy from the fins & chrome era. Good luck & thanks for looking.
