Chrome work as you would expect will of course need some work although i would class as good enough to restore. The Austin of England badge on the boot lid is non original although was fitted at some point early in the cars life so again i would leave it be. Handbrake is still present although due to lying has been disconnected.
Wiring loom seems to be intact minus some terminals for the battery i have not tested the lights but have tested the Horn and it BEEPS as it should! As you can see the usual problem applies to the front wings although unlike some others seems to be minimal and should not be to hard to fix. Condition of the steelwork is remarkable (NO ROT) considering the age and even as is with some cleaning this will improve.Under the Bonnet the Four plugs are still present and again condition is good. The bonnet strip show this as being a later version as the hole for the flying A is filled in.
Original seat coverings again with a little cleaning would enhance the car. Not 100% sure what the number is but think it is 26773. I had bought this with the intention of semi restoring myself but change in circumstance dictates i no longer have the time. A real timewarp car and although not mint with a little TLC in the right hands would make a fine addition to any collection.
I can wrap this car and can Have a courier deliver for you, it is very heavy and will need 2 people to lift if with ease and measures approx 5 foot long and 2.5 feet wide. Again let me stress this is not one of your gleaming restored J40s but the fact that this little car has survived in this condition to me lends itself to only a partial restoration. Many thanks for looking and any questions please ask.
