This toy features a tin construction in the iconic colors of the Ford-Cosworth Lotus 49B FORD F-1 Formula race car. Really remarkable example of this Lotus race car in large factor format. Modeled after the iconic Lotus 49B Formula One race car featuring the famous Ford-Cosworth livery (such as the Gold Leaf styling), complete with an aerodynamic rear wing, lithographed tin body, and a clear plastic gear/differential cover. Powered by batteries (3 C-cell batteries rather than the 2 D-cells sometimes printed on the box), featuring forward and neutral motion, a screaming engine sound, and a flashing engine bulb. Tested working and in excellent condition. Suspension and other metal components are all rust- and corrosion-free! Right rear tire is cracked (as pictured), but the car is otherwise in rust-free shape.
