ARNOLD, PRIMAT, Police Car, with Remote Steering and Crank Drive. Length: approximately 10 inches (25cm). Rare export model (note the door and the roof sign say in American English " Police " and not the German "Polizei") so this car was made for the USA. The handheld remote control unit has two functions: (1) Push the red button and the front wheels turn to steer the car, (2) Turn the crank and the rear wheels drive the car, forward or reverse, depending on the direction the crank is turned. The body is in excellent condition with some paint crazing (from age) and a few nicks, but I see no dents or corrosion. All four white-wall tires are in great shape and have their hub caps too! The Policeman ("driving" the car) has some paint loss but could be touched up. This rare ARNOLD PRIMAT remote control Police Car is in great condition. It works, and would make a wonderful addition to your tin toy collection. Please review the photos, they are the best indication of the toy's condition. I have had this vintage tin toy in my collection form many years.
