Another big Japanese tin car by Ichiko. This beautifully styled and seldom seen 1962 Cadillac 4-door hardtop measures 20" long (50.80 cm) by 5 tall (12.70 cm) and 6.5" wide (16.51cm). This is a fabulous looking Cadillac, with a wonderful lithographed interior that is beautiful and adds a bright color contrast to the ivory and turquoise paint. The car features detailed tin trim including headlamps; tail lamps, grill and fender trim which are in very nice condition.

There are just a very few minor dings in the original paint. There are no touchups on this car however there is a small oval area on the roof where it looks as if a label was removed it is difficult to see. Regardless, this car displays beautifully. The celluloid windows are original and in terrific condition. The baseplate is all original and looks new.

In fact, the entire car looks new. Tires, wheels and hubcaps are very nice and the friction works, as it should. This car would be an upgrade for most collectors. This is really a very nice and very colorful Japanese tin car. Ron Smith and William C.
