1960s Toyota Sports- 8 Japanese Tin Car by ATC Asahi NR

Another hard to find Japanese tin car by Asahi. This 1960s Toyota Sports-8 2-door coupe has been restored at some time in the past. It measures approximately 9.75 " long (24.7 cm) by 3.5 tall (8.9 cm) and 3.5" wide (8.9 cm). This beautiful car features unusual detailed tin trim and a colorful lithographed interior. Restoration is nicely done in a rich burgundy and pale grey color combination and displays beautifully.

The red and blue-lithographed interior accentuates the rich burgundy color, however it has a few touchups along with some spidering typical of Japanese tin cars. The detailed tin trim bumpers and grill are in very nice condition. The celluloid windows have been replaced as well.

Please notice that there are 2 different styles of hubcaps on the car. They are very similar, but they are not identical. The baseplate is of course repainted.
