1959 Buick Hardtop 11 Japanese Tin Car by Ichiko NR

Another big Japanese tin car by Ichiko. This beautifully styled and hard to find Ichiko Buick 2-door hardtop measures approximately 11" long (27.9 cm) by 3.25 tall (8.3 cm) and 4.25" wide (10.8 cm). This is a fabulous looking Buick that you seldom see, much less in this condition. The lithographed interior is beautiful and adds rich complimentary color to the 2-tone red and cream paint. The car features very detailed and beautiful tin trim including headlamps, tail lamps with plastic inserts, grill and side trim.

The celluloid windows are original and still look very nice. The car does have a few old touchups in both the red and the cream, and there are a few minor dents and dimples, typical of these lightweight tin cars. But even with all that said, the car displays beautifully.

The base plate is totally original and the friction works, as it should. This car comes from a very old collection.
