1958 Oldsmobile 2 Door Hardtop 11 3/4 Japanese Tin Car NR

Another big Japanese tin car by Sankei/Okuma. This beautifully styled 1958 Oldsmobile 2 door hardtop measures approximately 11.75" long (29.85 cm) by 3.5 tall (8.89 cm) and 5" wide (12.7 cm), and comes with a seldom seen reproduction box.

The car is an older restoration, but it still looks terrific. The colorful, lithographed plaid interior has been retouched in places, all of which are very visible in the photography.

It displays better than the photos look. The tin trim including grill, windshield trim, side trim and hood and trunk ornaments are in nice condition, and appear to have been refinished. The celluloid in the windows is original and very nice. The base plate is an older repaint although it does have some scratches and abrasions.
