1958 Buick Century 14 1/2 Japanese Tin Car withOriginal Box by ATC
Another great Japanese tin car by ATC with the original box. This beautifully styled 1958 Buick Century 2 door measures approximately 14.5" long (36.8 cm) by 4 tall (10.2 cm) and 6" wide (15.2 cm). This car is absolutely big and beautiful. The paint and colors are just outstanding, and the colorful, lithographed interior coordinates beautifully with the pale grey body color and the bright red top. There are a few minor touchups in the pale grey and red, but they are hardly visible. All of the tin trim including bumpers, grill, and windshield trim are in outstanding condition and very shiny. The anodized parts still retain their gold luster, and are in very nice condition.
The celluloid in the windows is original as well. The rubber wheels are like new and the hubcaps are very colorful. Its obvious that this car has spent a lot of its life in the original box. The old box has aged and both end flaps have been replaced along with a couple of small areas, one on the front of the box and two on the side panels.
They are visible in the photos. And of course the friction works, as it should. The item "1958 Buick Century 14 1/2 Japanese Tin Car withOriginal Box by ATC" is in sale since Sunday, January 01, 2017. This item is in the category "Toys & Hobbies\Electronic, Battery & Wind-Up\Friction\Pre-1970".
