1957 Lincoln Premier 17 Japanese Tin Car with Original Box by Ichiko NR

Another big Japanese tin car by Ichiko with a very rare original box. This beautifully styled 1957 Lincoln Premier 4 door hardtop measures approximately 17" long (43.2 cm) by 4.5 tall (11.4 cm) and 7" wide (18 cm). Original boxes for large cars such as this hardly ever survive. This car is absolutely big and absolutely beautiful.

The paint and colors are just outstanding and are totally original. The colorful, lithographed interior offers a nice contrast with the 2-tone orange and pale pink color.

All of the tin trim including bumpers, grill, windshield trim and hubcaps are in terrific condition. The celluloid in the windows is very nice and is original. The rubber wheels are like new and the hubcaps are just outstanding. The base plate is all original and in good condition. The friction works just as it is supposed to.

The original box is in fairly good condition considering that it has housed such a large car all these years. There are a couple of repairs on the inside of the lid flaps, but they simply reinforce the box. The label is really nice even though there is some writing on the edges, and it has been signed by what I must assume is the original owner.
