1956 Ford Sunliner Convertible 11.5 Japanese Tin Car by Mansei Haji NR

Another terrific and hard to find Japanese tin car by Mansei Toys (Haji). This beautifully styled 1956 Ford Sunliner 2 door convertible measures approximately 11.5 " long (29.2 cm) by 3.5 tall (8.9) and 5.25" wide (13.3 cm) and comes with a beautiful reproduction box. This car is original and extremely nice with the single exception that the baseplate has been repainted at some time. The colorful, lithographed interior coordinates beautifully with the showroom red and ivory color. The top of the rear seat does have a few minor touchups typical to these particular cars, but they are really hard to see.

All of the tin trim including bumpers, grill, windshield trim and hubcaps are in exceptional condition. The celluloid, and the windshield are very nice as well. This car features "real steering", in that the steering wheel actually turns the front wheels. The rubber tires are good and show very little wear. The friction works just as it should.
