1955 Ford Convertible 12 Japanese Tin Car by Bandai NR

This beautiful Ford convertible measures approximately 12" long (30.4 cm) by 3.5" tall (8.9 cm) and 4.25 wide (11.4 cm). The lithography and the paint are original, and in exceptional condition. The ripe peach color car with a green, peach and cream interior and folding front seats is accentuated by the pale yellow top boot. This is the most difficult color of this car to find, and one of the most attractive, in my opinion. This car features an opening trunk that works quite well and retains the all original trunk hinge.

All of the trim is very nice, including the windshield, side trim, bumpers and grill. The hubcaps are very nice and tires still have good tread. The lithographed base plate is almost perfect and the friction works, just as it should. There are a couple of very minor abrasions, but they are hardly noticeable.

And there is not a single touch up to the paint. Overall, a highly detailed big tin car that displays beautifully with the reproduction box. The box has been shrink-wrapped for protection.
