Another big and beautiful Japanese tin car by Masudaya. This 1951 fat boy Buick Skylark 4 door convertible measures approximately 11" long (27.9 cm) by 4.25 tall (10.8 cm) and 5" wide (12.7 cm). It is unusual to find these early 1950s cars in such good condition. The Buick features outstanding tin trim including portholes, side trim, hood and trunk ornament and a super grill and headlamps.
The beautifully lithographed plaid interior is very nice and compliments the brilliant red color. All of the trim shines and is in very nice condition. There is a very minor break in the top of the windshield at the center bar, but it doesnt detract from the beauty of the car at all. The rubber tires are good and the tin hubcaps are very nice. One wheel looks to have an old repair but it is visible only from the inside.
The friction works, as it should. The item "1951 Buick Skylark Japanese Tin Car by Masudaya NR" is in sale since Sunday, May 01, 2016.
