1950s Aoshin Japan Vintage Mercedes Tin Race Car Toy Battery-Operated 11-Long

This is a really cool tin-lithographed battery-operated Mercedes race car made by Aoshin (ASC), Japan. The car measures 11 long and works nicely.

As you can see, it is missing a small back cover that goes over the light. I have put two D batteries in it, and it worked fine. It has a forward and reverse lever. The front wheels are movable so you can make it go in circles.

Overall condition is very nice with no dents. It's just missing the back cover as mentioned. The metal base is very nice but has a small oxidation spot.

The battery enclosure is very nice on the inside. This is part of a large estate collection featuring hard-to-find antique toys and small advertising premiums.
