Another big and beautiful Japanese tin car by Toy Nomura. This nice 1949 Caddy measures 13.5" long (34.29 cm) by 4 tall (10.16 cm) and 6" wide (15.24 cm). The beautifully lithographed interior is exceptional and compliments the brilliant red color and the black. The car appears to be all original with the exception of the base plate that appears to have been repainted. I believe both the red and black to be original, and they both are very nice. There are a few minor abrasions and blemishes, none of which detract from the car at all. The celluloid windows are in place and are original. All of the tin trim shines and is in exceptional condition.

The glass headlamps are trimmed in tin and really look nice. The rubber tires look new and the hubcaps are very nice.

The friction works, but like most of these big cars it has a tendency to slip once in a while. I choose NOT to do so. When it comes to antique toys and collectibles, buyers know immediately if the item received is as described.
