1930`s TIN LITLO CLOCKWORK KLIMAX FIGHTING CAR ARMORED TANK CAMOFLAUGE S. I JAPAN
Made in Japan in the early 1930`s of all lithographed tin construction, including the six baloon type wheels. Fully detailed camouflaged body in vibrant colors of orange, red, yellow, and greens. Lots of patina and dust. The clockwork motor turns easily and rolls but you must have a smooth, flat surface. The sparking wheel turns and the guns rat-tat-tat up and down but I don`t think there is much of a spark left in it. These kind of penny toys. Were used as propaganda following Japan's invasion of China in 1931. It measures 4 inches long by 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 3/4 inches wide without the included key. Displays well and would make an excellent addition to any military, clockwork, or Japanese prewar tin toy collection. Note: Photos may show magnified dust, a flash reflection, or color washout.
