1930'S MARX SIREN FIRE CHIEF CAR VIDEO! 1ST BATTERY ORIGINAL CONDITION -15290-SD.

This is a 1930's Marx Siren Fire Chief Car Wind- Up Pressed Steel. It is the first battery car by Marx. The car is in good original shape.

The care measures 15.5" Long X 5.5" High X 5.5 Wide. The original red paint show signs of age, rubs, surface scratches and minor paint loss. Decals are in great condition. It is missing the one headlight and there is no wiring from battery box to remaining head light. There is an on/off switch on the right side, just in front of the door.

The front wheels can be manually turned to the right or left. There is a manual brake on the right rear wheel which holds the car from moving when wound up.

The car winds-up and the rear wheels turn however the motor is weak and wont propel the car and siren grumbles rather then wails. It has the original wind-up key. The tires are marked MARX BALLOON U. The hub caps are loose from the tires on 3 of the 4 wheels.
