1920's Girard Toys Tin Windup Toy Bear Cat Racer Car in Original Tin Garage

I will be listing a large quantity of high-grade toys over the next few weeks, some from my personal collection. Please watch my other listings for German tin, American tin windups, and other early toys. This is a scarce 6.5 long tin windup Bear Cat Racer racing car that was made by Girard Toys in the 1920's.

This is a fantastic race car with garage set that is rarely found together, especially in almost unplayed with condition. The coloring on this is great and the litho on this one is the finest I have seen with such bright coloring and almost no scratching. It features a nice 6.5 long tin windup boat-tail racer with seated driver figure, and it still even has the flat die-cut radiator cap sticking up on the front!

The windup mechanism still works great. Comes with the orginal 6.75 long tin garage with opening door, marked on the door Gasoline Alley Garage. A tough to find toy, especially in this complete original condition!

CONDITION: The toy and garage lithography are in very fine condition, with some spotting to the chrome grill. The windup mechanism still works great and the toy displays beautifully!
