This grand old toy is a really nice looking Limousine. It is so nice looking, in fact... That I would be inclined to believe that it has been the subject of an older restoration at some point in it's 90+ year history.
If this much is true, it was professionally done. When I first saw this toy, I smelled around on it for a paint smell. I did not smell paint.
This car has a couple of features seldom seen that I personally find endearing. The windshield adjusts to 3 different positions, and there is a tail light that actually has the word "stop" that will light up. Plus, I like the large rubber tires. Of course, I have seen other toys with these features but, currently have none in my 2-3 hundred piece toy collection. I do not have a battery that fits this toy to check the operation of the head lights or tail light.
The wiring looks to be in order, with no loose or broken wires. The wind up motor is strong, and works incredibly well.
It takes a key the size of a Schuco #3 (not included) or a similarly sized key. The Limo's rear doors open and latch shut correctly. The spare tire mounted on the right side is missing it's rubber tire. I had it but, it was split in half. The dimensions of this toy are approximately 14 Inches long X 6 Inches Tall X 5 Inches wide.
