This KEYSTONE toy service station/garage is from the Thirties. That explains the nicks and paint loss, not to mention children played with it. The garage door goes up and down, but you have to help it by pulling on the top of the door with your other hand. The gas pump is not supposed to have the "globe" on top and the hose and nozzle are wrong.
If it had the correct ones, the pump would have water ("gasoline") in it, the hose with its proper nozzle, you could stick it in the trunk of the red car; fill it up and drive off. Later on, you could press the button on the hood of the car and "oil" (really water) would come out the bottom of the engine.
The car is missing a wheel, so to ease that "sin", I'm including an AUBURN RUBBER CO. Toy of a 1937 Oldsmobile 4-door sedan. The station would be a nice place to display some 1:43 scale cars the new owner might have.
