The friction motor does not seem to work anymore, but the wheels roll freely. As the photos clearly show, the door, which also serves as the front of the car is detached. I don't know if it can be repaired and if so, I don't know how to. It doesn't look like it came apart from being abused, it just looks to me like the hinge wore out and it separated from the car.The steering wheel is also missing. It could possibly be from as early as the 1950's, but I remember seeing them in the 1960's so I listed it as a 1960's toy. This will still make a great addition to your collection!
