Meccano Constructor Car No 1 Pre War Rare Black And Red Clockwork

This is a good example of this rare colour variant which has fully working motor. It's first owner copied the wartime regulations and painted the front and rear wheel arches white! The front bumpers show evidence of where the paint was applied too. The paintwork is all original and has no corrosion but does have wear and some small chips. The bonnet has one large scratch and some heavy rubbing on the near side.

Headlights are missing the plastic lenses. It also has the rest of the parts to make other versions as shown in the last 3 pics. The windscreen, nuts and bolts are all original. Built correctly as a No 3 Road Racer. Wheels have all the correct lead hubs.
