Vintage kids pedal car created by luxury French toy maker Morellet Guérineau based on the iconic mid century classic the Citroen DS. Manufactured Mid to late 1960s. In excellent condition - pedals and steers well. Looks as though it may have been repainted at some point.

Dimensions: H37 W120 D47 cms. The Citroen DS was and is a cult classic. Styled by Bertoni in the mid 1950s, it's famous for its futuristic body design and innovative technology such as hydroneumatic self levelling suspension and being the first production car to feature disc brakes. The DS was placed third in a 1999 car of the century poll recognising the world's most influential auto designs and was named most beautiful car of all time by Classic and Sports car magazine. Aside from being President De Gaulle's car of choice (surviving an assassination attempt in one) the car is legendary in popular culture featuring in movies and TV series such as Scarface, Back to the Future and Mission Impossible.
