Circa 1930s mechanical toy race car set by Marx in original box, heaps of track with it, the set has 5 cars, 2 of the Larger cars & 3 very nice condition smaller cars, also an old beaten up box for a small race car. I have quickly set the track up roughly , the track is complete, I ran the 2 original larger cars & they worked fine, however they need a little help/push to get up the hill where it crosses over the track , that may be due to me not winding them up enough, the 3 small cars that came with it I cant see how they would work with steel wheels as they wouldnt grip on the tin track, I wound the mechanism on one & it worked but it wouldnt drive on the track but the 2 large cars that are original to the set work great.
