1962 Buick Smoking Champion Racing Car 11 1/2 By Cragstan Of Japan

1962 Buick Smoking Stock Car by Cragstan of Japan. This battery powered Japanese tin car measures about 11 1/2 or 29 cm in length. It's a nice model of a real'62 Buick Roadmaster. With batteries installed in the clean battery box, this car runs in a "bump'n go" mystery action.

While it runs, smoke comes out of the tailpipe. This car has always been one of my favorite Japanese battery op cars. I guess it's the smoking tailpipe.

I also like the checkered flag flying on the end of a spring. Then again, I like'62 Buicks... Both tinted plastic windows are intact.

This toy has not seen too much use but has superficial scratches commonly occurring on lithographed (as opposed to painted) toys. It is complete, all original and in very good condition.
