1954 Chevrolet BelAir 11 Japanese Tin Car by Linemar NR

Another big Japanese tin car by Linemar along with a nice reproduction box. This beautifully styled 1954 Chevy BelAire measures approximately 11" long (27.9 cm) by 3.5 tall (8.9 cm) and 4.5" wide (11.4 cm). This is a very nice looking Chevrolet in the colorful red and yellow combination. The original red orange paint is very nice, although there are small touch ups in multiple places on the body along with a scratch on the hood. The roof of the car appears to be an older repaint, but it looks very nice. There are a few spots to be seen under the yellow paint however they are only visible by turning the car to reflect light.

The celluloid windows are probably replacements, and the white fill in the rear fender trim is probably refinished as well. The lithographed interior is richly detailed and adds a nice color contrast.

The car features detailed tin trim including headlamps; tail lamps, grill, bumpers and side trim in the condition you would expect with an original car. The hubcaps are in very nice condition and there are a couple of touchups on two of the whitewall tires. The base plate paint is original and shows the normal abrasions.
