1950's Cadillac friction model car made in Japan by Marusan with original box

I bought this car some 40+ years ago at a toy show in North Jersey. It was offered for sale by the owner of a long-closed toy store. I have had it displayed behind glass ever since in three different houses. In spite of this display method it did get a little dusty and does suffer from dull chrome (a problem easily remedied).

While photographing the car I did note a small black mark on one tire. There are minor flat spots on the left rear tire also. 1950's Marusan Cadillac with friction motor and turning front wheels.
